This weekend at the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, romance was in the air. Literally.

Glen from Boise entered a contest on 103.5 KISS-FM in partnership with Simmons Fine Jewelry, which provided him with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to propose to his girlfriend of two years while soaring over the Treasure Valley.

Glen's entry won the KISS staff over after sharing a touching story of the two love birds and his excitement for them to start their future together.

"I knew from the moment I met her, that I wanted to marry her," Glen admitted. "I'm nervous, because this is going to be the biggest day of my life. I know she'll say yes, and I just can't wait for us to start the next chapter."

With friends and family in tow (along with Kekeluv and Larry Gebert from KTVB News Channel 7), the excitement grew, waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question.

At the highest altitude, with the Boise foothills and downtown in the background, Larry interviewed the two, which turned into the perfect moment. With tears in his eyes, Glen proposed. "Yes I will!" Sydney exclaimed.

"He seemed nervous, but I thought it was because of the balloon," she chuckled.

The two admitted that while they've discussed marriage plans, they have yet to set a date. We look forward to providing an update once we know more.
